Alexandra Agudelo Acquired by Brooklyn Museum

Posted: 29 October, 2019.
Congratulations to Alexandra Agudelo, her piece, Fardo, has been acquired by the Brooklyn Museum. The Fardo alludes to the large pre-Columbian funerary wrappings, composed of numerous layers of embroidered textile pieces that contained both the person in the fetal position and the baskets and utilitarian vessels that accompanied him/her on his/her journey to the hereafter.
