The Ladds Bring Scrollathon to Dallas and High Museum of Art

Posted: 22 July, 2019.
Artists and brothers Steven and William Ladd are bringing their community engagement program Scrollathon to Dallas from July 29 - August 9 and Atlanta from August 19 - 30, 2019. 1,000 members of each community, including seniors, those with disabilities and the general public, will work one-on-one with the artists to create components for a new artwork titled Scroll Room. This innovative work will be a full-sized space where visitors will explore the vast spectrum of sensory experiences. Both Scrollathons and the artwork are supported by the Dallas Museum of Art and the High Museum of Art, where the piece will be featured in the Speechless exhibition, opening at the Dallas Museum of Art on November 10, 2019 and the High Museum of Art on April 25, 2020.
